Oh, very nice! I loved how you wrote Lisbon's reaction when she realized Jane wasn't wearing his ring. The "..." and "/", somehow they expressed surprise and speechlessness and that pause you make when something takes you so by surprise. Nice, very nice indeed! And then that bit of awkwardness between them...that was so cute. Can't wait to see how the story continues!

I really hope you plan on continuing on with this story! It's one of your best. It just gets better! Just wondering, that's all. Keep up the great work!

It seems it has been a while since anyone reviewed this story: 4 or so days since the last chapter was published. The story is not listed as complete, so I'm going to do my part as an interested reader and respectfully request an update before too long. I've thoroughly enjoyed Jane's interaction with the children, Clara especially. His timidity is a welcome break from the norm. Please continue. (Unless, of course, you've stated somewhere that you've discontinued the story or put on hold. In that case, I respect your decision, while keeping my fingers crossed that you will someday return to this gem.)

Awww! :( I was sooo close to crying by the end of this! I love the way you're writing Clara though, so adorable! The fact that she is so insistent that her aunt's name is Tree, she calls him Rick, calls him cute, it's just all such great characterization ! Love it! ;D

Oh please do a 2nd part, if not a multi-chapter story! I've been reading some of your other work, and you have a fantastic way of making the pain of the characters seem so real. I'm even hurt about Gabbie's death, but this is a story definitely worth continuing.
