Chakotay seems a little more sarcastic than he is in the show ... but mostly it feels right. I especially like your observations about "less than perfect" being a good look for her. It's true.

This was a really well written story. I've only recently seen Natural Law (I've also only recently started watching Voyager, for that matter), and many of your interpretations came to my mind as I was watching the ep. I really hope you continue this story!-

I think you write okay, nice little story.

But Chakotay's a patronising old fart in this tale. With his little snipes throughout. Remember also because he ignored warnings about the danger of that zone, for the sake of site seeing. He put both his and Seven's life (again) at risk. And obviously it has taken him a very very long time to realise that she has a very loyal and caring side to her. That has shown frequently before now. You should use your powers for good not dopey.

What a nice story this is. Hey, I am gonna watch Natural Law for the first time this week, so I am really glad I read this piece... now I can look at it with even a bigger C/7 slant than what already exists in my head. *smiles
