I just saw this film, and was surprised by the sweet almost-romance between Alex and Mara (and then saddened that they didn't give them the happy ending I was hoping for), so finding your story was a nice "fix"! Thanks for giving these characters the ending they deserved!

I liked this movie. I always though that Alex should have woken up at the end, but I guess it didn't fit for the type of ending they wanted.

Too bad, though. There should be a lot more fics on these guys.
