So...I take it you've read 'Black Beauty' by Anna Sewell. I had never even considered the possibility that Equestria is what ponies dreamt of. It was at once so very, heartbreakingly well-written and so psychologically upsetting...talk about a fanfic getting you 'right in the feels!'

Very well done! I'm going to favorite you and will look forward to reading more of your work, though I kind of vaguely hope the next one isn't so heartbreaking. One can only send so much of one's paycheck to the ASPCA before it starts to really wreck one's budget.

I remember this! I never actually read it until now, but it's hard not to be involved with MLP fanfics to any degree and not have heard of this fic. Now that I've read it, I have to say that it is melancholy, intense, and strangely uneven. If this were a long piece, these elements would quickly become unbearable, however this is not a long piece and it holds together quiet well and makes for a memorable read.
It's like an intense stranger you happen to get into a conversation with on the street. He makes an impact on your day, and then leaves before his intensity and clever nature turn against him.

I don't know if it was intentional, and I'm assuming it was, but I loved the references to Black Beauty. Dash's inner monologues were beautifully heartbreaking from both sides, as well. Excellently written.

This is such a beautiful story. It's so touching and it was a pleasure to read (an I type this as I'm bawling...)
The raw emotion and the powerful images are fantastic. It's all so.. Surreal.

I actually find this even more moving than My Little Dashie for the fact that it just seems so... cruel.
Rainbow Dash's owners seem nice enough but after seeing what happened to Rarity and Applejack, I felt so sad. It's depressing to think that this is what real horses and ponies are like and what people did, and still probably do, to horses/ponies.
Question though, it never mentions what happened to Twilight or even mentions Fluttershy in the 'real' world?

This was a nice little story, I enjoyed reading it, though grammer needs a bit of work otherwise I liked it

Other than a few grammer errors, this was a neat read. It is something a bit more slow paced for those wanting to sit down and simply pass the time with a good fanfic. I especially liked the concept. I like to think of myself as a concept artist, (where I can think of what to write about but can't right worth crap, though I still try), and this really caught my attention. While part of it may be sad to see that this is the lives of our beloved Mane 6, it has good closure and a happy ending that keeps the reader satisfied. Hope to read more of your stories soon, seeing how I liked this one so much.

This really is a great story, it goes to show us that if our horses were like that, well I wouldn't like this world. It doesn't seem right to use such beautiful creatures as our servants. They should run free like they deserve. Sure my heart would cry out for me to own one but it wouldn't feel right. Also the cities can't compare to the natural landscape. This is really sad and a bit tragic seeing how such a bright pony with huge dreams could end up in reality a common pony with a cyan coat. *Weep* I think I'm actually crying here. Props to you my good sir!
