Injustice Gods Among Us may have a stupid concept on how superheroes like Flash and Joker can fight each other but at least it works in a video game sense and they give a plausible(albeit kinda dumb) explanation on how. I'll take the "stupid" Superhero set up game over not having one at all or one that lets people win with one or two hits. Also good fic btw.

I wish you continue this story. I would like to see the state of Limbo, NOW, after the past year of the reboot.

I thought they were taking Wally out of continuity I wonder how Berry and Hal would respond to that. Not to mention Berry and Clark not beig with Iris and Lois.

THIS should be required reading for all comic fans. It very nicely points out how absurd these retcons and reboots truly are, and it does it with style and more than just a knowing wink. You put a smile on my face with this. Bonus points for Kara/Stephanie, as they're one of my favorite pairings. Great job!

Ah DC, the land of the retcon ever since the Barry Alan Flash was introduced in 1956. I mean if he was inspired by the Jay Garrick Flash who as far as he was concerned was a comic book character and not the "real" person that the 1940s Flash comics presented Jay Garrick as, that's a retcon right? And if the Superman whom the fictional Jay Garrick Flash fought alongside in the Justice Society of the 1940s is the same Superman as the real Barry Alan Flash fought alongside in the Justice LEague of the 1960s, that's a continuity snarl right?

The idea of DC characters complaining about being retconned is nothing new. In 1965's Wonder Woman Vol. 1 #158, writer/editor Robert Kanigher broke the fourth wall by inserting himself to the story and telling Wonder Woman and all her supporting cast that they'd be retconned. Wonder Woman weeps that its murder, MURDER, and that she can't do anything about it! The normally braze Amazons panic. The Duke of Deception-a servant of Golden Age Mars/Ares and reimagined for the Silver Age as a literal [GREEN!] Martian-launches a futile assault and tells Wonder Woman that even though he knew in advance he was going to loose he had to try one last time to beat her before being retconned. In the end, Kanigher brings all the characters he had personally created-Gloop, Bird Man, Wonder Girl, WOnder Tot, Mer-Man-and tells them that while he might persoanlly love them, he needs to expand the fanbase and so he declares them retconned... at which they turn into ink on paper. He then turns to a balcony and looks at the sign wielding fans outside of DC Offices that he will take everything in a new direction.

While I am a fan of a good continuity, I am opposed to continuity for continuity’s sake and ... as a DC fan... you just have to take retcons in stride. Like it or not, reboots have been part of DC since the beginning; it didn't start with the Crisis. With me, I just shrug my shoulders and look with careful hope to what the next story might be like.

You should do another chapter with the Batfamily. You know who's probably sad? Dick! He finally gets to be Batman and BAM! Demoted right back to Nightwing. Batman will be happy to get rid of Grant Morrison. Bat Inc was a cool idea but the bastard was bringing Kathy Kane back into continuity and as a Mary Sue that had Batman wrapped around her little finger at that. Barbara should be torn. In one hand she gets to walk again. On the other hand Cass and Steph will probably dissapear from continuity altogether. Even if Steph comes back as Spoiler, there's nothing much for Cassie...

You know, I think you really shouldn't mention the relationship between Dinah And Barbara without adding Helena. Birds of Prey always made me think that if there was something going on, it would be a package deal between all three. Except for that great fic.

Totally sucks. I've been waiting since fall of 2009 for them to do something interesting with Wally West, but all they ever said was "He's spending time with his family" or "Wally who?" Then he does appear (as Wally and not a Flash) and it's obvious if he's been with his family he's been ignoring his son. All he thinks about is gushing over Barry. 22 years as Flash down the crapper. Maybe he'll be back as *gag* Kid Flash, maybe not just so nobody will ever doubt that Barry is (supposedly) awesome.

Now they are slowly giving out a list of surviving books and a good chunk of them are Batman or Green Lantern related. Atrocitus gets his own book? REALLY? A Red Lantern book but you can't have a Flash who kept that book alive for 22 years with a bigger fanbase than Barry's? Realy, DC?
