This was fantastic. I feel like you took a pair of characters I've never seen interacting with each other and gave them plausible interaction, and hope for a better future. I also like that you were able to explain how a pureblood like Arthur came to be so fascinated by Muggle objects. It was also a good point about the memory charms...magic can't do everything.
