Lovely story and very well-written! Best of all, it's a Hitch & Tully story, a rare gem indeed. Loved the letter, too, and how it reminded both Hitch and Tully of their respective homes and families. Now...all you need to do is write another story about some guys reading a letter that's really not theirs...

Great letter from the homefront and I'm glad to see that Hitch got a letter even if it's not for him.

Very nice picture of life on the homefront. I can see how this would give comfort to the boys in uniform; as Tully said, it was nice to have news from home, even if it wasn't their home.
