The Original Geek 5/30/12 . chapter 1
So is it bad I got all but five of the references without having to look at the endnotes? Very amusing and uplifting story.
Emily Blackrose 5/16/12 . chapter 1
I was going to say something eloquent about how awesome this story is but I'm afraid mischief7manager expressed exactly how I felt.

Also, I'm very excited to get acquainted with the characters I don't know. I'm going to make up a list and get started!

I can't even tell you how much I love this. Really.
InkySpectacles 4/8/12 . chapter 1
Wow.

You, my friend, have crafted a masterpiece here. The different fandoms blend seamlessly into one another, and yet everyone (everyone that I recognized, at least) remains absolutly in-character. Your writing has a beautiful flow and rthym, (didn't spell that right, don't care), and you've created a haven that I really hope does exist somewhere- a place where heroes can take strength from one another and meet people like them. I really hope you keep writing- if I could write anything half as good as this, I'd be over the moon.
mangaluva 1/30/12 . chapter 1
Well, that was certainly a study in cross-referencing XD I don't think I've seen so many fandoms in the same place since the Otherworld series went offline... The footnotes were helpful, but the ones I did know were interesting and lovely to see. I particularly liked the men meeting up with the Firefly girls; the combination of River and Sherlock's minds is both awesome and terrifying at the same time, and I suspect if anyone in the universe could make Mycroft relax, it would be Inara XDXDXD Lestrade's little meditation session with Qui-Gon was very touching, too. And of course, Sherlock and John spotting the Holmes and Watson of the past... it would be interesting for them to meet, and very touching to suggest that their friendship transcends time.

Aww, I think I'm gonna cry now XD Lovely story, just lovely :)

first of all, for some reason, i found this so very intimate and i want to thank you for sharing this story - i know any author shares a piece of himself when he writes but this seemed much more than the usual sharing :)

also

i absolutely loved the Babylon fish piece :D it was so fitting for John.

I wont pretend that i knew everyone there but the moments I recognized some of them were priceless for me. Thank you so much for Inara, for G'kar (a pity Londo couldn't make it though :D), for Jared (god that brought back some memories) and everyone else ...

the idea behind this story was brilliant but the execution was just exquisite!

Tanks again, really

Lill
Shadow of Flame 1/1/12 . chapter 1
Wow. Just wow. I inwardly kind of cheered whenever I recognized some of the heroes. And then once finished, opened up a new window to compare all the descriptions with your footnotes of who they were. Thanks for this. It was a good thing to read at the start of the new year.

You, good writer, have won the internet. Excuse me while I go pick up the pieces of my brain from wherever they landed after it overloaded on awesome and exploded.
Vanidot 11/28/11 . chapter 1
Very Cute! I got most of the american references from telivision at least not up on the books and don't know enough about native american lore to know the difference. STill a great story though. Loved it!
KivrinRue 11/5/11 . chapter 1
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference made me clap my hands in delight. I felt slightly silly when people stared. xD Other than that it was a joy to read through this and see which stories I had read and which I hadn't. It was a very interesting mesh of characters. I was also delighted that you mentioned Kivrin, I very rarely come across someone who knows of it, and it always makes me happy. x) Thank you for posting!

Wonderful, powerful and inspiring. Beautifully written.
CrazyCousinEiko 7/24/11 . chapter 1
I love this! I am incredibly jealous of them... I'd want to go so badly! I love all the references you make. You are well read, it seems (and well watched? Is that how you'd say it? O.o). Seeing all of the links between movies, television, books, and even history in this manner really shows how small our world really is... if that makes any sense. Again, wonderful writing! :D
LongLiveInsanity1 7/7/11 . chapter 1
This is fantastic! Your characterisation was flawless, your capacity for description, phenomenal... Just, wow. What's more, I'm sure that this story can only get better when I learn to truly appreciate all the subtle references - this time around, I most enjoyed Sherlock and the Spocks and the characters being sorted at Hogwarts.
Forgetful Phoenix 7/2/11 . chapter 1
I confess I did not recognize more than half the references...so I thank you for the footnotes. I have some cultural remdiation, it seems. :-)

But beyond that, thank you for the Brett/Hardwicke reunion scene. It'll stay with me a long time. *cough, must be dusty in here...*
TheLadyLilith 6/30/11 . chapter 1
Thank you. It isn't often that I'm reduced to tears by a fic, but this one had me from the moment the Granada Holmes saw his Watson.

The fact that so many of your readers can name so many of your characters speaks volumes for our need for these heroes. You've captured that so well.

Thank you, again.
