A lovely piece! I confess I haven't read much femslash despite how long I've been in various fandoms, but this and your previous piece may well convert me. I thought you handled Ames and Layla's characterization perfectly, and the flirting between them (and between Ilsa and Ames in your other piece) come off as very natural, aided by the smooth pacing of the dialogue. This was a pleasure to read. I hope you'll write more for Human Target fandom!

Layla was a great character...nice to see her being used.
