This IS short, but it's SO good. The feelings and the thoughts, the descriptions are all top notch. Right more, maybe add onto this if you can, the part where he hears the bells and enters the church to talk to that monk who helps him. This is VERY good.

i'm not logged in now but i am kezzer. anyway, this is ok, longer than my version and making good use of what facts you know.
