This is amazing. The way you wrote the piece, the tone, the idea of Lance's past and down to the finale-everything. You did a good job. Keep up the good work.

Wow. I loved this, I really did. It was so thought-provoking, and you pulled off writing it in 2nd person very well. I have to admit, the one bit that really got me here was when Lance and his grandfather were talking, with the "I have done wrong by you." "No, grandfather. The world has." That. That, for me, summarised everything that Lance stood for. Thank you for writing such a wonderful piece to read!
