I loved that chapter! I realized that it was the very first fic I have read something about any relationship of Damon and another woman in, and I have read many fics over the past three months. And I was surprised that I felt ... uh...kinda jalous (in the name of Elena, because I totally am (of course!) a Delena-shipper!), like I felt in the beginning with Rose. So I assume you caught it really good! Then again - I felt bad for Claire. Unrequested love - the big theme. And the reason why he left her was Katherine, at that. So, as we all know, it didn't even give him what he wanted. Poor Claire, Poor Damon...*sigh*

I'm curious about Elena's reaction...looking forward for the next one:-)

Reallly impressive chapter, I feel like I'm reading a script for the Vampire Diaries whenever I read this story, you can definitely tell how well you carry over the emotions from the show into a story.

omg, so basically claire's the woman he dumped like 2 years ago before he went to mystic falls...i do feel bad for her, after a century she was just dumped

Claire was an interesting character, and I'm really curious about their history; she probably was in love with Damon, and he left her, but I haven't an inkling about what happened between them...something with Katherine, maybe? I do hope your scedule leaves you enough time to update soon, I love your story :-)

Great chapter, I love how Damon is protective of Elena. Cant wait to see Claire and Damon's story. :)

I really like this story. interesting twist with Claire, and her being the one to teach him to turn the emotions off. I guess maybe this Claire is to Damon, what Lexi was to Stefan, only on an opposite level, since Stefan battled with the ripper side of things and Lexi helped him by being his friend... this Claire helped Damon on that same level, and perhaps best friends, or maybe a little more... I don't know, that's just what I think... but I like the story :)

I like Claire, I think she's an excellent addition to the story, she feels like someone who would be on the show, and I'm impressed with her already.
