Oh, this is wonderful! And perfectly in character for both of them. They dialogue is great, and I can sense real emotion from both of them. The fact that Emily would remember Derek's words while facing Doyle is so moving - especially as she tells herself the team is coming. This works perfectly as a one-shot, but I could also see you moving back and forth between the present and the past, showing us a growing bond between the two of them in the past even as we're moving toward the irrevocable ending. But it stands beautifully as it is. Wonderfully done!

Wow! Nice one-shot. It is short and to-the-point. The best thing about this is that I can clearly visualize the scene in my head.

It's probably just me, but I felt like Morgan wanted to say more to Prentiss at that moment in "Lauren", and yet he couldn't. Her life was being taken away.
