I know that this is an old work and you've likely improved since then, but I did like this story so I'll review.

Actually, I find myself enjoying the prose here more than your SasuSaku story. Here it's succint, telling and showing with just enough words. Though there are instances where passive sentences are used to no effect and some sentences are kind of choppy, they're not terribly distracting.

It's certainly a short, but fun ride. I was disappointed to find it ending where it did. Not because the story is unfinished, mind, but because I want to read more of Gangster Team 7. All bickering and bantering, and worrying and caring for each other. I also like that Sakura knew what Kakashi was up to even if the other two didn't (or Sasuke just didn't care?).

Cleaning out my inbox during the end of my spring break, I finally read your post off the kakasaku lj comm. My intense love of anything related to samuraiPET aside, this was a clean, intense look at mafia-intrigue with the Naruto cast and your style lends very well to this kind of story. Great job!

I love this! I've loved Samurai Pet's art and this gives that particular clip an excellant back story. The fact it's KakaSaku makes it even better.
