Excellent! I don't give reviews often, but I needed to comment on this. I never considered what the seven, other than Buck, might have felt at Hilda's sacrifice in saving Buck's life. I think you have captured that beautifully here. Especially given that Ezra would be the most likely to put words to paper to express those feelings. You have captured Ezra perfectly. Very well done! I can't wait to see where else you go with these letters.
