Wow - great witty banter - very authentic!

I like this story. It felt like an episode of Daria with a sweet ending about Quinn's reason for learning so much about the heart. Everyone is in character and you can tell that Quinn was struggling with everyone being idiotic but with her own popularity at stake. Good job.

This was a really nice story. I thought it was funny and faithful to the characters, especially the Fashion Club girls. I like the idea of Quinn having to disguise her intelligence. Well done!

Another well-written story! The way you write your stories, if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were on the writing staff for the show...hey, its more plausible than Artie's alien theories.

Just like in the "Don't Sweat the Mall Stuff," Quinn and the Fashion Club are the main characters with Daria (and this time, Jane) as the side characters. But in this story, you've focused on Quinn's mental struggle as she finds herself acknowledging and somewhat embracing her intelligence while simultaneously keeping it from the Fashion Club, particularly Sandy.

Daria and Jane's mini pursuit of a substitute hangout was very amusing and the dialogue was captured perfectly for both characters. But I have to say the ending was my favorite part of the story, namely the Quinn/Jake moment. You've expanded Quinn's genuine concern for her dad's health from the "Jake of Hearts" episode into the heartwarming scene.
