...*splorf* I like the "Next chapter" teaser!

2008-11-05 . chapter 6
The idea of Hermione as a "force of nature" really appeals to me. hehehe.

The visual of Hermione-as-Hagrid complete with crossbow and Fang almost caused me to choke on my candy. Well done! Have some licorice.

RE: the Baron and Peeves: I'm just imagining a good, old-fashioned spanking, a tried and true method for inducing both pain and embarrassment, especially back in the days during which the Baron would have been raised. Nothing more complicated or imaginative than that; sometimes the simple fixes are the most effective.

(Personally I'm glad my mother was creative enough to teach us consequences without capital punishment, but considering Peeves' howling, I expect the Baron is more old-fashioned.)

Finally, Filch interacting with Hermione. You have her exactly right.

Loving this fic.
The Orcs didn't have a choice because they were "created" (actually transformed and subverted elves) by Sauron. Think of them as cyborgs or robots rather than people; Sauron removed their free will when he developed them.

Interesting details on Squibs. I really liked that, especially since most fanfics tend to ignore them. A shame, really.

Nice twist about Filch's talents. At last he's given some credit.

OK, now, I need to find out about the kittens. Which story would that be? Hmm...

Crookshanks was the ginger tom? Now I definitely want a kitten.

Oh, poor kitties... After all it was Nature's calling. (and mrs. Norris, that is...)

Peeves is very annoying. Good job in portraying him as such.

*My sweet cat promptly became a bundle of claws and teeth in my arms* Yes, I believe this sums it up. I hadn't realised Mrs. Norris is related to my cat.

And Binns talking to the dead caretaker... Brilliant!

I'm glad the Baron gave Peeves what he deserved. At last.

So, will she have kittens? If she does, I want one two. (And my Gingerhead will kill me...)

Oh, poor kitty... As for Filch defending her virtue, well, that was priceless. Dare I suspect he's jealous?

As for Colin's account on spraying, I must admit I felt rather bad myself.

I'm too tired to write more, but I really enjoyed this chapter too.

2003-04-10 . chapter 2
I almost felt sorry for Fitch, harassed this way by Peeves. I hope he gets back to him one day. And the kitty description was purrfect. I could very well see her. And hear her, too.

I suspect you have cats. If you don't, you have no idea what's like to have a female cat in heat. So, I can really sympathize for Argus. I can fed-ex you two of my cats, if you want a first person performance...

I wonder if there would be a potion to help poor kitty. Why didn't he go to Snape?

Talking of whom, the scene between the both of them was absolutely delicious! Filch finding delight in Potter's cleaning skills, while at the same time feeling the way he feels about purebloods. As for Snape he was, well, Snape. Right in character. Not many writers are successful in this.

Overall, another great chapter.

2003-04-09 . chapter 1
I admit that what urged me to start reading the story was the summary: Mrs. Norris into heat... As a dedicated cat person, I had to read more. I believe Filch is rather unappreciated in FFnet recently.

Loved the mirror part and Moody getting caught in his own spell. You don't have to be a spellcaster to be resourseful.

*What in Medea’s Name* Brilliant! Especially since this is one of my favorite names, magical or not. And judging by "Circe's pigs", I can tell you're a Greek mythology enthousiast. I like that, since I'm Greek.

Great story so far! And I'll definetely be back for more!

2003-03-28 . chapter 3
I doubt that a 14-year-old boy is going to be that ignorant about the facts of life.

Oh, and another thing: You say, "There are a few exceptions to the “Bad Guys are from Slytherin” rule, like Peter Pettigrew, but Pettigrew is balanced out by many positive Gryffindors."

There is not one single place in canon or JKR's interviews in which it has been established that he is a Gryffindor. That is simply an assumption on the part of fans. There is nothing to say he's not a Slytherin or Hufflepuff.
