Hey, Mags. Didn't see this on LW. Glad I found it here. I really loved the way you wrote Murdoch. He may not express his love for his sons in words, but you show it runs deep in him. I love that he believes, and you make us believe, that Scott's stubbornness will get him through this ordeal. Very nicely done.

"Scott knew how Murdoch felt about him, didn't he? Wasn't it clear enough?" I love Murdoch's questions. You made a direct hit into one of his deepest fears lest he lose his son. Such stoic men were the Lancers-particularly Scott and Murdoch. I can already envision Scott's view of his father's worried face when regains consciousness. This Scott-girl loves your writing! A great insight into the normally dour and unreadable Murdoch. His loves for his boys unspoken but so patently obvious when he lets his guard down. Beautifully written and I'm not beyond begging for more if at all possible as I love me some Hurt:Scott... Thanks so much for posting.

Murdoch's fear is palpable, and his regrets and the love he feels for both his sons, expressed or not. And his certainty at the end that Scott's stubbornness (a Lancer trait, no?) will win out is just as powerful. Beautifully written!

I loves me an angsty Scott-centric fic so you just made this Lancer fan extremely happy. :-)
