I can't believe she bagged the trifecta, that is some serious class right there.

And to have her use Emily's line at the end, the one about the box. It was just perfection.

Just remembered that I never reveiwed the end of this. The main conclusion from this story is that Mini is THE LUCKIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD. Seriously...all three of them and then getting to be with Franky, that's just not fair...at all.

You've connected them all with Mini so beautifully. How they all helped each other in their own little ways was perfect, especially the end of the Effy/Mini interaction with them telling each other that they'll find their loves, made me so happy.

My only wish is that we got to see Mini meet back up with them, I sign the petition for a 4th chapter. Please? No? Fiiiine lol

Oh and I can't remember if I said this or not when I reviewed chapter 1 but you get a hug for writing an Alo/Mini friendship because I ship that like no other, love those two

It seems I have yet to review this. I blame the parties and the travels and being sucked in completely by the Women's World Cup.

Right, now that I'm here:

I was nervous when I saw the title. I'm not a huge gen 3 fan, or a huge Mini fan, so when I realised that this was a story by you in my favourite universe, but told from Mini's point of view, I was a little anxious. I didn't want this universe I love so much to be ruined by a character who I like, but more in small doses than as a lead player. However, there was no way I couldn't read it. I mean, you wrote it AND it has Keffy and Naomily in their incredibly hot circus roles.

So I started to read, and I was entertained and intruiged. I liked where you'd taken Mini. I loved saucy, minxy, I-can-seduce-anyone Emily in the first chapter. And them coming together, Emily bringing Mini out of her shell, was gorgeous. As was the inclusion of Katie and the whole set up of Mini being dragged along to Effy's opening by Alo (who is one of the few gen 3 characters I really do love and I do reallly enjoy Alo/Mini friendship, so I was quite pleased with that aspect of this whole story).

And then I just knew before I started chapter two that Mini'd slept with Naomi, which only left Effy for her to have slept with, and those made me nervous again because I'm slightly more attached to them, especially Naomi, and while I can see Naomi in any combination of Naomily, Naomi/Katie, or Neffy, I have to confess that I still can't see Naomi with Mini, even after your chapter. I put that aside, however and read and enjoyed. Naomi and Cook being best friends was always one of my favourite parts of IHAFICC, and it played beautifully into your chapter. Also, Naomi flames hot as hell (pun intended, I suppose). I would have loved to have seen that performance. Again I really enjoyed how you bookended the flashback with the present day art show. The evolution of Mini from chapter one's flashback to chapter two's was also really nice to see. Also the lines about how Naomi would like her teacher. That cracked me up, and my, how prophetic. ;)

Mini's realisation that Naomi and Emily are madly in love was wonderfully done. I liked how she was happy they'd both been tamed, if somewhat jealous.

And then there was chapter three, which I was again worried about because I wasn't sure how you'd play Effy, how far into her diseased state she'd already be and whatnot and how that would play into this growth I'd been enjoying in Mini because before I started the chapter it seemed to me that they could only ever use each other and then crash and burn. You proved me wrong. I loved Anthea's inclusion (especially the apology! OMG I did not think your Anthea knew the words 'I'm sorry' lol). And I love that Mini helped Effy in her way, and kept her around long enough for Effy to find Katie. I like that Effy knew that Mini wasn't quite right, but that she saw the shimmering beauty of her. It was all very fitting and lovely, really.

Possibly my favourite parts of this story are the bits of the art show that you share with us. The photographs so beautifully described so that I can see them in my mind's eye. The show between Emily and Naomi shown from a different perspective, bringing back that explosive dynamic, the intense magnetism, between Naomi and Emily that was so ever-present in IHAFICC and 99 Problems.

The ending was really very fitting. Alo and his cheekiness was a lovely insert. And then Franky, grown up and having come into her own, ready for this grown, sexually comfortable Mini that you created, being there. It was a lovely ending. Mini found her love surrounded by past lovers who had also found their loves.

Brava, darling. Well done.

So, I just finished reading all of IHAFICC, 99 Problems and Mini the Minx.

I wanted to review every chapter but I downloaded them on my Kindle so I could read it anywhere (oh, yeah the granny/work warnings were a good idea. I thought I could get away with it, but yeah. No. Stop looking over my shoulder and asking what I'm up to, people.) and then I got way too into it to stop every chapter and write you a review. Sorry.

But I did think it was amazing, you got the characters down so well I was kind of awe-struck. To be honest, I don't know much about the Circus world (or at all, actually) but I was fascinated by what you were able to show us through this fic. Not only in the story but actually your author notes too. You mentioned something about doing a show in Montreal? I live there and am now determined to look for a contemporary circus show or festival because I really do want to know more about it.

I loved your representation of Katie and Effy, I think it's kind of rare to find fanfic authors that get them anywhere near as well as you do. They're complex characters and I honestly think you did them justice, especially Effy with all of her Effyland and demons and angels. Naomi and Emily were just as good, perfect, and I can actually imagine that Mini/Emily situation happening in canon. Well, except for the fact that Naomi and Emily already got together in Roundview so that would make it a bit more complicated hahah.

I would also like to say that your descriptions of the show, the double trapeze act, Effyland and Effy's photos were very - very - well done. I was pretty much left with a perfect and very lively visual of Naomi and Emily's performances in my head, it's almost like I saw it happen. For Effyland I loved the way you managed to get the feeling of the piece across so well that the reader doesn't even really need to know what it looks like EXACTLY, just enough so we feel everything the audience is feeling and imagine the rest - there's some kind of fascinating mystery to it.

Well, at least that is how I perceived it. lol

All in all, I just wanted to say that everything is exquisite and beautiful and I fell completely in love with this universe. I will definitely keep this all on my Kindle and reread it in the future, it sort of feels like a novel - a great one, in fact. So yes. Cheers. All the awards. I shall now go back to listening to "99 Problems". Good song.

And Jeez... You break my heart again with this one. Fucking hell. The Emini's relationship and love declaration comes pretty fast, but you make it totally believable. I have an inkling that if you wrote a story about me being your slave, i'd believe it as well.

I would love to write a more in depth review but i was reading this at 2 am in the morning, literally right after I had finished work. So my brain's a bit mushy, not to mention the oh so sexy sex scenes is making me feel more than a little bit on edge.

For a minute there I wanted Mini to be with Naoms... which is just ridiculous because i'm a Naomily fan. But when she said "don't leave" It was heartbreaking. Damn you wordsmith :P. How come you always make me feel the impossible

Off to the next chapter now. I seriously hope that you won't go for a threesome. Because as adventurous as I am, i think that if you love someone as intense as Emily loves Naomi, sharing is not possible. But oh well, I do know now that you can write me into anything, and convert me in a heartbeat

I was a lil ... well, put off by the idea of Mini and Ems at first, as i kinda like her with Frankie, and Ems should just be with Naoms. But the conversations in the beginning were funny as fuck, and I felt myself relaxing, just smoothly entering your brilliantly written world, as I always do.

I have to admit, I didn't see Effy coming, but I probably should have. This was great, and it fit perfectly, both into IHAFICC and season 5. I absolutely love the interaction Mini's had with all three of these characters, and it seems so genuine, both to the Mini we see in the TV show, and the Mini you've created in this universe. Absolutely brilliant, please write more, I would love to read whatever you come up with, it's like you get better and better all the time.

I think that Mini is one lucky woman! She's linked to all these amazing (and hot) women who helped her be the better/fuller version of herself AND she was reunited with Franky when they were both finally ready to be with each other. Whoever doesn't feel the love through all of this might want to look into getting some sort of cynicism reduction treatment because this was great. It was moving, it was erotic, it was beautiful, and it fit perfectly into the IHAFICC world that it makes me believe that even more can fit into it! I would have loved to have seen the other three minx reunions. Ha! I stil Love that name for Mini. It's totally spot on!

So, in summary: I loved this! Fantastic job! And thanks for everything :)

I really enjoyed this.

It was so great to re-visit the 'hold a force' universe again. I loved the unfolding of the story, how we saw Mini come to embrace herself and her sexuality, to have fun exploring it with many girls, and then ultimately become ready to be part of a couple. I love that she learnt a little something from each of the three women along the way, and gave something special back to each of them.

My only small complaint was that by the end, I was hoping for more. With little more than a cameo appearance by Frankie, their reunion seemed rather brief. And I was hoping to see some reactions from all three of her exes, if she did go and talk to them!
