| Faux Promises 7/3/11 . chapter 1 I really enjoyed this a lot. GLaDOS can be surprisingly in-character even when she's being a tiny bit softer. We all tend to think of Portal!GLaDOS as crazy and evil, but we don't really know what was going on in her head at the time especially with all those cores making her insaner. This was a nice insight on her. For me it's a testimony on her conflict between wanting to behave like a computer meant to do science, and the human impulses that have started to develop in her. It's hard to have something as intelligent as her without developing some humanlike tendencies. Anyway, really liked this. You write a convincing GLaDOS! :) Best wishes, -FP |
