WitchOfDarkness13 11/9/11 . chapter 1Inetersting. I always thought of Remus as the more religious of the Marauders. Don't know why. Anyway, I love this song, it's on my iPod actually, congradulate you for knowing it! |
 sPinnErs-eNdx 9/22/05 . chapter 1best one-shot i have ever read.

 louloute 3/23/04 . chapter 1 Hello DrWorm.
I think your fic is simply wonderfull! It would be fantastic if it would be a translation in French. And it's your lucky day : I propose myself as a translator!
I had experience with the fic "Wandering aimlessly" but after few weeks, I lost contact with her and she quit , so I resigned.
Ok, I know my English needs some improvements but you can look at my work before answer. The French title is "errer sans but". You can give me your answer by e-mail. |
justPeace 3/17/04 . chapter 1o.o; That is a LOVELY little story. I'm so glad I found it. :3 You see, I just realized that the title of my fanfiction shares the same title as some other peoples. I was so happy when it really WAS the Warren Zevon song you were referencing the title, even more so when the way you depicted Remus was just so... lovely. Like the flashing of thoughts through a troubled mind. Very lovely writing, good luck with it. |
Ephemeron 8/25/03 . chapter 1That's really very well-written. I love how you worked in all the comparisons (especially to "Paradise Lost" and "Beowulf") Very nice, and very interesting too... |
 Aubretia 7/16/03 . chapter 1 DrWorm
Your stories are incredible and enticing, little flickers of dancing flame amid ashes that are other Harry/Remus fanfic writers. I'm writing my first right now and I can only hope it will be half as good as yours. You portary the Harry/Remus genre perfectly, capturing their characters and struggles without flaw. The Slavador Dali reference is fascinating, I can almost see Remus superimposed on "Swans Reflecting Elephants"-only his being "Man Reflecting Wolf." A wonderful allusion, as is Hamlet in Of the End. By the way, PLEASE finish that fic, I am a dedicated fan and your cliff-hanger was absolutely evil. Don't make me hunt you down! I always thought of Harry as having a bit of a Lady Macbeth touch to him-"Out, out damn spot!" especially after OOTP and Sirius's death, which he partly blames himself for. In any case, please continue to write, your stories are powerful, frighteningly real (almost in a Donna Boyd vein, a very good author on werewolves), and vastly moving. Please continue Of the End before I go insane.
Your greatest fan,
Aubretia |
Alexandrea-Riddle 11/18/02 . chapter 1That was good! I love Remus. That was awsome I can't stop loving it! and the thing sbout Harry. Doesn't really seem /(slash). But in my mind it's just not a Remus trait to be /.

Midnight Dovethought I was signed in 7/18/02 . chapter 1 Cute! I like it! I wondered what Voldemort meant, too! |
Trinity Day 6/9/02 . chapter 1Wow. That was amazingly powerful. You did a wonderful job with it. Bravo. |
 Obake 4/20/02 . chapter 1DrWorm,
This is a beautiful piece of writing, and it presents a realistic view of Remus and his world that I haven't encountered before. I loved reading it, particularly the references to legends, religion and arts-all Muggle preoccupations with a magical tang.

flapjack 4/11/02 . chapter 1wow, I was excited because I actually knew what the Grendel reference was about (and I know someone who was reading that book, and it made me immediately think of Remus) It's definitley deep stuff. Lovely :) |
Rainsong 4/11/02 . chapter 1I truly believe that that was the most beautiful and touching piece of Remus fiction I've ever read.
You were able to capture the parallels of religion and themes so often mentioned in Harry Potter philosophy,
yet at the same time provided insight into the way Remus may view his world after the deaths of Lily and James,
Sirius's unjust condemnation and Peter's betrayal. My favorite line was definitely 'Who's body did you steal, Tom?'
It was thought-provoking and deeply passionate.
I am a newborn author at ff.n, and though I may only be a young teenager, I am very opinionated about religion,
politics, and social structure. Oddly enough, these interests are up there with Harry Potter, a series sometimes viewed
as belonging solely to children. You've captured character depth wonderfully, and given all of the older HP fans something
to celebrate. I'll be adding your story to my favorites list, ASAP!
Whew..I can prattle on forever, eh?

Kirst 4/11/02 . chapter 1 This is SO going in my favorites |
Neena Jo 4/11/02 . chapter 1That was beautifully written. I liked all of the references to the paintings and the bible and the symbolism of it. I think thats the word. Anyways, it was a great story. And I couldnt help but laugh out loud at the squirrels comment...I made that observation once myself. But that's beside the point. Loved it ) |
