aughoti 9/18/11 . chapter 1Very dark and yet hopeful at the same time. "'Til all are one,'" - one way or another.
Beautiful imagery, too, especially the comparison of sea- and space travel.
And maybe it's just my cynical turn of mind, but I thought there was a nicely ominous note to the last line. As in, perhaps it's -not- a great idea put your political convenience over your allies' basic survival, and as in "you reap what you sow." |
femme4jack 9/15/11 . chapter 1second time I've read this one, and love it even more. It is just so appropriate a fate for the dead, and morbidly hopeful.
Optimus reminds me strongly of his brother in this. If only the two of them could have raised hatchlings together :) |
Horser01 9/5/11 . chapter 1o.O Morbidly fasinating... I want to know more about these hatchlings... I have been wondering about them since I saw the movie... |
GrimsonAshes 8/10/11 . chapter 1Kinda cute in a morbid way.
The things you sometimes have to do to feed the little ones, eh?
Either way, I liked it. :) |
 Amaya 7/18/11 . chapter 1 Wow that's morbid but really good |
 Shadir 7/15/11 . chapter 1*Snif* Poor Optimus. |
CuriousDreamWeaver 7/5/11 . chapter 1I thought that this fic was really interesting. It was well written and quite introspective. Well done.

9aza 7/5/11 . chapter 1Thank you! Finally someone wrote about those poor hatchings! I was worried sick about them after the movie (seriously Bay, WTF?) and wondered who will take care of them after the Decepticons were killed. Glad to know I'm not the only one who cared about them.
I enjoyed the oneshot very much. |
char0lastra 7/5/11 . chapter 1For a story with such a morbid theme, I thoroughly enjoyed this. This was very well written and flowed nicely, too. I always thought Optimus Prime too hard to write for, and it seems you managed effortlessly, so if I said I wasn't even just a little envious, I'd be lying.
I only noticed one spot where there seems to be an error, unless I'm just not comprehending the sentence correctly (a very real possibility), in which case I apologize:
"Any with those inclinations might must died much earlier, Optimus mused." |
