Hey, Joe here...

First, I would like to thank you very much for taking my review in consideration, taking yourself the time to make a complete chapter with all the details... really, no all writers do that. Thanks.

Secondly, and totally more important, I'd like to make you know where is exactly Crystal Cove and how the Mystery Incorporated writers came up with it. Listen (or read) very carefully:

Waaaaay back in the awesome year of 1969 (yeah, I know, and we're still here :)), two excepcional cartoon-genious persons, one called Joe Ruby and the other Ken Spears, were creating the backgrounds of the characters we all know and love. As they were doing it, they thought of having their adventurous grup traveling in their van anywhere, but they had to be living in a town. So, they pictured Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby 's hometown to be Laguna Beach on Orange County, California. They saved all that information, but of course, the producers of all the following shows and all the fans seemed to forget it when Ruby & Spears left the studio and then Tom Ruegger made up that Coolsville place for "A pup named Scooby-Doo". Joe and Ken weren't consulted about the matter and noone asked for their opinion.

In 2009, in the creating process of the new series, the producers wanted it to be a spinn-off from the original "Scooby-Doo, Where are you!" series, so they went and checked the pitch materials Joe & Ken had left so many years ago. And there they found out where the characters lived, how old they were in the original series, and more. But, they couldn't use the real name of a real city for "Mystery Incorporated," so they created another name for the city: Crystal Cove, a pacific (apparently) California coastal town, trying to bring back and pay homage to the original Where are you! series and it's creators.

You don't have to believe me if you want to, the Scooby-Doo creators/producers don't reveal information like this on public (though they mentioned it in the Scooby-Doo convention last year), but you know? if I were you, I wouldn't rely on Wikias. Just an advice :P

OK, enough of me rambling. Thanks again for considering my review. And sorry for being too lazy to log in... xD

P.S. $1,410,380? Wow, really expencive for a car. I'll make sure to visit the website you recommended (thanks, Google!) and don't forget: keep writing great Scooby-Doo fics, cause it makes the world go round and round :D

Cheers and congrats for your great stories,

Joe

Good story, just a tiny, little mistake that I think should be corrected imediately:

Crystal Cove is located in the state of California, not in Ohio.

Please, if you could correct that data... you know, because if you don't, people will believe in false information...

I loved that you portrayed Daphne as danger-prone as she was originally. Good job ;)

P.S. I would've like Fred driving Daphne in the Mystery Machine instead, that would have much more history related to Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated...

Keep the Fred/Daphne great stories coming!

Cheers,

JoeK

I really liked this story. I love the Fraphne pairing and I'd love it if you wrote tons of more stories :)

Just one question, though..how old are they; since they're still living with their parents?

Keep up the great writing.
