I love a good Ace story. And I go so far as to say that this is a GREAT Ace story.

Introspection is wonderful. Me likey character insight. There was also very nice use of imagery here.

The way the fic was written was quite interesting. You know the tense. I can't keep normal tenses straight. Perfect job!

This was the scene I wished they'd shown on TV, during the 1996 movie or at the beginning of the 2005 show. Although her sendoff in the New Adventure books was handled well enough, it didn't carry the weight of canon that a televised exit would have. I enjoyed your story-10 out of 10 stars!

Ace is my absolute favorite companion! I intend to write her someday, so this was quite the inspiration.

ooh this had extra effect because i literally JUST watched Silver Nemesis, so these two are fresh in my mind.

i loved it so much, these two were among the best TARDIS duos of all time.

Of all the Doctor's companions, Ace is my favorite, followed closely by Donna.
