I personally think this story is going good. However, I do have some crticsms. I am having trouble telling things apart do to the fact that the paragraphs are huge blocks of text. Try breaking them up.

This one is more of a question. Will the advent appear?

And third. Your characters are startin to get mixed up. This is probaly my fault, but I think it is because the text is, err, blocky and large. Fix that, and your golden.
