Interesting how you chose the "title" of a person who studies butterflies and moths.

I kept thinking, "What does this have to do with butterflies?"

For ancient Egyptians, butterflies symbolized the soul. The soul released from the mortal shell of the body upon that body's death. Though that soul flew away to the Heaven in the Sky to live eternally with the gods. Essentially. If they passed certain tests. If they didn't measure up, they were reborn on earth to try again.

It seems Jasper is not the Lepidopterist, so Bella must be. Only she hasn't passed the test, (or she really pissed off some god or other). She doesn't receive the gift of forgetfulness, the gift of being reborn as an infant to grow all over again. she dies and then just wakes up again, not forgetting anything, but apparently not having any clue of how to fix it, change it, make it all better, make herself worthy.

It's not Hell to be on earth, it would be Hell not knowing how to change it.

Bella is in Hell. Perhaps, if she were to help Jasper, she would find Heaven.

This is a fantastic story, I would love to read more if you planned on continuing it. Or have any dribbles that are going that way. Thank you so much for posting it for us all. Sophie

I've read this story a dozen times or so, I love it that much. It's just...amazing. In fact, I've always loves the way you've written Jasper and even Bella.

Until before, though, I've never actually wondered why you chose Lepidoterist as the title. I'm not entirely sure, but isn't that the study of months?

I love this story! I actually love all your stories. The way you write is just so... captivating and fluid. And I love that I'm always in for a new treat when I read your work. It's always original and refreshingly different. Amazing.

I'm amazed at how little people have reviewed this story. It's my favorite story out of the millions on this site and I've read it atleast 20times. It's a great read with an intresting plot. And I just wonder why they haven't and why it took me so long to review. Anyway, thanks for posting this.
