I know these are the same piece but with different ancients but I feel I should add that I love the idea for this in doing it in 3 parts, it works really well, and I love your description for how the gladius with all it's enchantment affects Alex, the power and strength connecting at such a deep level. Explains why she's so capable for the last battle! Excellent work! :D

I love your use of language! The imagery you weave is so powerful, and sets the scene beautfully. The description of the sword and it's once human wielder were spot on too. Onwards Warrior of Light!
