Oh goodness. I loved this! I am a sad Kings fangirl, and this was so...explaining about some of what Andrew's deal is, and how he processes things.

I had honestly forgotten who "Seth" was (bad fangirl!) and the "puppy" remark was a pretty hard punch, and then I get that you've got two boys, one grieving, one that should be but can't...and it's just really, really good.

I'm a little scared for Seth with Andrew, but it's such a powerful notion that Andrew knows that anyone caring for this kid would naturally be scared for them to be together, even if they didn't know who Andrew was, because he is just that soulless.

Excellent job fleshing out a story that ended too soon, and keeping all the voices true. I hope there's more :-)
