This story has lots of potential. You have portrayed Scott's emotions perfectly. I liked how the characters in this story make some tough decisions, the way you have to make them in real life. Sometimes you have to do things you loath yourself for doing, but you don't have a choice. Remy throwing Scott out of the guild was a testament to that. Oh, he did have a choice. As Scott very rightly said, (BTW, where did you get that quote from? I'm interested because I full-heartedly agree with that quote.) you always have a choice, even if the other choice is death. But in this case the other choice was effectively ruining Alex's life and THAT, in Remy's mind wasn't a choice.

You haven't updated this story in a long time, But believe me, this story has the potential to be great. The characters here literally feel alive. I have read many, many stories; but there are only a handful of stories I can say that about. I won't press you to complete this story; I know what a bitch real life can be. But know this - if you ever complete this story, I'll be there to read it. I have added this story to my favourite stories and to my story alert list - an everyday occurrence. I have also added you to my favourite authors list - a rare occurrence.

I don't know what more to say. Do keep writing. Don't let you talent go waste.

This fic had all the elements of a truly great read, sucessfully combining angst, adventure and (some)humour in a truly believable way. I was rather shocked that Alex (who is portrayed as such a sweet character) died, and I hope, as this is an AU fic, that you consider a way to bring him back. And I loved Scott's sardonicness, Remy's compassion, and the inner strength of both.

Please, please write a sequel. I am quite looking forward to seeing what more you bring us.
