Switzerland was invaded.. Figures, Kenshin is just a stickler to details, hence the invasion. I love the tension though! ..well, while it lasted I mean. Himura just went in for the throat! Kaoru did not have a chance! XD.. not with the pancakes. That had sealed the deal. *shakes head*

I'm still hoping for Kaoru's revenge though. Despite the wonderful opportunity it presented to her.. Revenge is sweet, and all the more glorified if just for the spirit of real, unadulterated fun! XD

Shishiop making a cameo sounds nice too! XD, Kenshin should have his own brand of retribution for our dear pyromaniac after all.. XD

I'm afraid, if not for the radiator committing suicide, and sacrificing himself in the name of good fluff.. I would have resorted to a microscope and squinted my squint-y eyes before I saw the tension.. Sorry.. Though, I may be exaggerating a bit..

It's just that, it was really more of an intellectual exchange than of the heat [carnally speaking.. XD] I was too busy trying to understand what they were talking about to consider the little bits of lusty thoughts filtering in.. XD Big brain, little brain thing. I barely even registered the fact that Himura is seriously considering growing old with a not-stripper Kaoru.. XD

I love the pillow talk though! That was adorable. XD

That was a really awesome chapter. The poems you put in were wonderful. 'On Marriage' was especially bittersweet to me.. It was lovely.

LOL, I was almost expecting Kaoru to quote Masnavi, just to get a kick out of the redhead's apparent amusement.. Maybe it would come in later. XD

As I read these chapters, I read the an's too, and wondered why you were considering ending this earlier? It seem to be the perfect length to me. Unfortunately I read the pregnancy one shot before I read this...wrong order, I know, but I wanted you to know that I hugely enjoyed this whole thing. Thank you for writing it and positing it for me to find.

This was really an awesome story. Honestly. I loved their deep discussions about poetry, politics, history, books, culture and everything. It was beatifully done and the story flow was so smooth that I couln't even rise from my chair to fetch a glass of water during it. Really. Amazing story. Gotta recommend this to my friends.

I really do think you're an excellent writer and I love your stories so much, especially this one. It was just brilliant how you adapted everything, and the way you wove the tale, well, I just fell in love with it. Kaoru and Kenshin feel like two real, human people that anyone can relate with, and over the course of just six chapters, you made them so dear to me I feel like I'm reading about old friends. An epilogue would be wonderful, as I'm sure any work you do in the future would be.

Thank you for the update! I have to say, I love your Hiko. He's almost sweet reading war and peace to little Kenshin. I had to laugh at Koaru saying they were going to couple's counseling. Oh, I love this story so much! You had me at Chapter 1 and I'm really glad you continued it up to this point.

I couldn't help but grin naughtily as I read the first few paragraphs of this chapter. Yes, that's how glad I am of the fact that their Switzerland pillow had been breached. Ohohoho! This particular description made me laugh: "She considers the topography of her situation while desperately trying not to think of the topography of Kenshin's body" because, really, who could resist red-haired hot men who's polite and intelligent and is a good cook?

I really love how you characterize both Kenshin and Kaoru. Their dialogues and thoughts flow naturally and they're both witty and funny. I was smiling the whole time I was reading it. Including Hiko's fatherly ways is a nice touch too.

But... please don't let this be the last chapter. Pretty please? Still looking forward to a net one. Thanks for the update.
