That was a brilliant idea, and pulled off excellently. The odd couple was..? Xu and Nida? There's no way it could've been Irvine and Quistis- they were almost together in FF8. Anyway, some things seemed to be right out of Cowboy Bebop.. but the ideas for Cowboy Bebop were taken from old Westerns and Samurai films; so I guess you hit it right on. Too bad though, this fic seems like it isn't getting as much attention as it deserves.

I don't know how you did it. Everyone fit their roles, and somehow managed to stay in character. This is going up on my favorites.

Well, well, well. This is certainly one of the more original pieces I've seen here! And pulled off quite well, which is surprising. It made me grin in quite a few places, and it seems that FFVIII and Westers aren't as incompatable as I would have guessed...

sorry, but IQ isn't that weird. or NX or whatever match you say is unortodox. trust me, there have been weirder matches. i like the story, though. kudos for making F and R not seem so bad.
