Wow, a very interesting twist. :o I always thought that if anyone in that story deserved love and happiness, that it should be Nobu. I certainly would have chosen his devotion over that of any of the other characters. The real ending saddened me... I so wanted for him to have someone to love and be loved by. If it were Mameha, I would have been overjoyed. :)

Let me begin by saying that I love what you've written. It has everything needed to begin a great story. I feel like you focus on the right elements in a story and that your dialogue covers everything without saying too much. I would be ecstatic if you were to pick this up again and not let it be a one-shot. I understand though if you don't. Writing can take up a lot of time. Just wanted to say that I don't think anyone else could capture this ship as well as you have right here. I would be really interested in seeing what might happen between Nobu and Mameha.

Beautifully written. I was a huge fan of the book when it first came out on the market. While every one else was hoping Sayuri would end up with her Chairman in the end, I was wondering if Nobu would ever forgive Sayuri and the Chairman, and eventually find love. I like to think he ends up happy with Mameha when your ends. Well done. :D
