This isn't a bad premise for a fic. I just felt like it moved a bit quickly, with not a lot of time to develop the emotions of the characters. I would have liked to see a little more detail so we could understand what Leo and Max were feeling, especially toward the end. Overall, not a bad fic, but I feel like it was rushed.
