Oh man, that was funny. I laughed my ass off. As Beaver confessed to cutting the phone line I was in convulsions, and got busted by my nine year old daughter who wanted in on the action. She loved it too. Often when watching the show I imagine my own twisted scenarios so this was right up my alley.
Now that I think about it I vaguely remember seeing clips of this lost episode on a special about when 50s shows Jumped the Shark... Like the when Ralph Cramden came out of the closet and when Alfred Hitchcock jumped a shark wearing a leather jacket.
