that's a wonderful story. i'm very interested in reading sarlett's reaction to this when she's calmer.

i think rhett know a lot about humanity, amn and woman. after all he can't became a wealthy man without knowing people and their weakness and know how to use it for his personal benefice. he is a gambler, a pirate, a buisness man a dangerous man. he is a force to be reckonned,very clever and cultivate but also at ease with thieves and sailor and bad seed. he is equally at ease with royalty and gentleman but know only a law and it's his. he don't care realy about what people think. and scarlett will realize she prefer a complex man like him who don't choose to show him only the best but also the worst, he was always honest about himself and what he think about people or life. as for scarlett she need to open her eyes and seing ashley and discovering the true ashley weak and ungentleman will do that. she can grow up, be free and learn about rhett and see the great man he is, she can finaly travel and learn about the world and civilization, be more cultured, more elegant, learn about her power over men without doing anything. she can have a real family, other children. continue it's good

Thank you for updating but please don't make us wait so long for chapter 3! I like this twist a lot and I like how you have made Ashley acknowledge his real feelings for Scarlett (ie she has just been a pawn for his ego!).

I am hoping that with this earlier intervention, Bonnie doesn't die and our favourite couple live happily ever after!

I relly do hope you continue this. It is a very interesting and original idea. I have always tought that Scarlett loved Ashley because she tought he loved her, it was her long time obsession and becoause she tought was so virtuous and in this fic Scarlett sees one of her assumptions pruven untrue. I hope that in the next chapter Rhett comes of Belles and Scarlett sees him and he assumes that she is crying becouse of him. It would be quite interesting :) but truly do continue

4 hrs? I'm impressed. And here you have set up a great premise for some psychological drama in which Scarlett has to deal with both her fallen hero as well as the fact that the reason to stay chaste is no longer there. Will she now listen to her heart (and own needs)?

Wow I never thought I would read where Ashley went into Belle's. What would Melanie think? What will Scarlett do? She finally see's him for what he really is. Now will she love Rhett? Or will seeing Ashley at Belle's ruin everything? Hope you keep up the great work on this piece. Oh and great job in doing this in four hours.
