/Brilliant story, to which I'm eagerly waiting to read more. I especially would love to learn more about the close family ties between the Malfoy and Snape families?...and the bonding of Severus and Lucius, what is the exact purpose of it? Or will these details be revealed later in the story?

I love the portray of Sejanus Snape, who seems in many ways like his brother Severus, yet different in so many others. I think that Severus, could have been like his brother, if he'd had the opportunity to be...but he wasn't able to be? Is it to late for the brothers to truly be as close as they were when they were children? Does Severus understand why Sejanus left for the muggle world? What will Severus, tell his brother about Potter and his friends?

Well you started me off laughing - the idea of Snape on a diet...

but then it got sad :-( very poignant. its kind of strange considering severus with a past thats *that* far back. back to voldemort days i can just about do, even a little before, but thinking of him growing up... poor severus, died inside.

ah you know im no good at reviewing non-humour... for what its worth i could quote my fave bits of this too, not from lol but from mip. all the stuff where sejanus describes snape and how hes changed ... especially the eyes.

I loved it! I've always wanted to read a story on Snape and his brother, and this is perfect. I think the plot is very interesting, expand on it and write a long fic! You've gotta keep writing this one, this is good!

The Snapes have odd names, don't they? Is the j pronounced y? This is very interesting, can't wait to read the rest.

I totally love this story and I think I've just fallen in love with Sejanus. He seems to have the best of his brother without the hate and bitterness. I can't wait to see how he fits into Hogwarts and his interactions with Snape.
