Holy cow! I literally could not stop reading this! Seriously, it's 2:19 in the morning, and I can't even really think anymore, but I couldn't stop!

The standard schpeal, you're awesome, watch the adverbs, this was awesome, love how you tormented poor Shads, by the way, although it seems like the whole thing with Sonic and the "Metal Flashbacks" was never resolved (although this could be because I can't function anymore) And aside from that, I have nothing to say, except that I'll be watching for more stories from you!

Wow, I finished it. Honestly, when I started reading this and saw that there were 65 chapters, I had no intentions of finishing it. Usually, when something is THAT long, I'll just click back on my browser and find something shorter.

I think I forgot to mention something in my last review... I chuckled both times Sonic waved to Eggman during the battle. I can easily picture him doing that just to tick Eggman off!

Well, I'll definitely be back to reread some of these chapters... I like to learn from the good works I read!

Wow, I really thought Sonic was going to end up sacrificing his life, there, after the way you explained how the Chaos Emerald cracked and exploded after only a few seconds. One more chapter to go... Although I just read this entire story today, I'll miss reading it! This is truly one of the best fanfictions I've ever read.

That chapter gave me chills at the end. This makes me want to play Sonic Adventure 2: Battle so badly right now.

"Now my memories war with one another, compassion and friendship set against the darkness of my past."

That makes perfect sense, and I could not have summed up Shadow's emotions better. The poor guy needs some peace of mind, though.

I almost feel guilty that I haven't read this story before today. I know I've seen it when exploring around FFN before. I'm so happy I decided to actually read it this time... once again, it's great. It seems like you put an exceptional amount of effort into this as well! I love it.

I've spent several hours of my day today reading this far into the story. All I have to say is: It's amazing. That simple. I've never noticed so many similarties between Shadow and Metal Sonic before reading this. I don't know how you thought up this wonderful plot line, either, but it is definitely worth reading, and I'm glad I found this today! I support Sonic and Tails' friendship greatly, and I see so much of it in your story. Everything about it is perfect. This is one of the best stories I've read on FFN, and that's saying something, because I've read a lot of stuff on here. All the personalities fit their respective characters, even when they've all matured a few years. I could go on for hours about everything I liked about this story so far, because I know there is plenty more. Your mind can clearly think to a great depth... I would have never been able to create such an imaginative plot. Absolutely WONDERFUL so far.

Oh I hope sonic can reach tails (and break out of that coma!) voice. Sounds good so far.

It feels rushed. Sure, you can get a sense of speed from it, but from the writing to the Sonic's actions, it all seems a little rushed. Maybe a few more details for some agonizing pauses? Or maybe I just read too fast?

Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. :) You know, there are so many unfinished stories on this site that when an epic one like this actually reaches completion, it's reason to celebrate. You did a great job wrapping this one up, giving it a very satisfying end. It's interesting to look back and see how all of the characters have changed, whether a little or a lot, yet Sonic continues to be his old self. In a way, that's the message I got out of this - change. Everybody changes, but... good old hopes and dreams don't.

... yes, well. Terrific job, and I certainly hope to see more writing from you in the future!

Great Job! I'm gonna read this over again in a few weeks. I gotta say this is tied with two other of the best Sonic stories I have ever seen. I want to say more, but I've said most of it in past reviews. I guess that the fact that my guess was wrong is official now. I will guess something right one of these days!

Screw it! I can't stay depressed! It just doesn't work for me! AWESOME, AWESOME STORY! I'll read and re-read it until I have it memorized! lol Maybe I won't go that far, but still. It's a good thought! Well intentioned, anyway. Loved this story, absolutely adored it! I'm sorry to see it go! "Gone, but not forggotten!"
If you write another like this, or just another fic period, you can bet I'll be reading it!
