Just Lovely 3/13/12 . chapter 5
Wow.

I'm really awed at how emotionally capable your writing is. It has a very formal tone to it, the narrator does anyway, but it's so capable of telling a story that seems to be both something to be proud and ashamed, I think. There's a lot of emotions in this little chapter, happiness, hopefulness, inferiority, fatigue; it's as if the story being told is justa fragment of something bigger.

This was beautifully written!

Honestly, I can't see that I'm on the same page that you seem to be; but there's something about this that has a very appealing edge to it.

The style that you write with and the perspective that you use is very unique; it's different than the norm but it's distinctive, I really like how personal it makes the story seem, like a direct link into the thoughts and feelings of the narrator.

Typo: "There is a barrier which I am unable to to pass..." you have a repeated 'to'.

This was wonderful to read :)

...waitasecond.

i think i get it. i THINK. but then again i can totally be off because i'm such a failure and i don't understand anything unless its broken down to its very core i know i am such a disgrace.

but i personally think that... each chapter is not only titled by what each espada stands for, but in each chapter, the narrator changes?

perhaps the last part is a bit off.

but.

well.

i said i was a failure.

o_O

WHO IS THE NARRATOR? THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE, YOU HAVE NO IDEA.

at first, i was like "...it can't be Grimmjow, coz Grimmjow's the soul they're talking about!" but now i'm seriously not sure, coz Ulquiorra appeared and I'm like... wut.

it COULD be Grimmjow... And the soul could be Nnoitra...

OR MAYBE I JUST FAIL REALLY HARD WAILING NOW

this story is an ace. i see that there is nothing to improve.
MADDOG Mancini 8/1/11 . chapter 3
Different tone from previous two speakers, so nice to read. Refreshing, almost? This one is more laid-back and not so serious and focused. Comic relief person, maybe?

This one is talking to Ulquiorra, for sure. If not I give you my eyes.
MADDOG Mancini 8/1/11 . chapter 2
Similar tone to previous speaker; can't exactly see difference. But definitely not the same; this one is maybe more tolerant and patient? There's a worry in here also.
MADDOG Mancini 8/1/11 . chapter 1
Uncertain in his tone, somewhat indifferent; so initially thought it was Ulquiorra. Surprised it was Grimmjow. Then again, if he weren't so angry and vengeful all the time he might've been like this. Where did his anger go? Obvious it's not gone totally. Curious as to who the other speaker is. Is it Ichigo, or no?
Diet Soda 8/1/11 . chapter 3
And the suspense continues! Who are these characters you've brought up? Didn't you say that you wouldn't reveal them until the next cycle began? Has it begun already?

So here, we have a lonely little fellow. This one is Kazuo, isn't it? Kazuo, Kazuo, Kazuo... I think that's a guy's name. So it's a guy, isn't it? And he's talking to Ulquiorra? And eek, the purpose of battle doesn't whet the appetite at all! For what purpose are they sparring? Teamwork? No, I think it's for a deeper, more urgent purpose! It's been three years since Grimmjow had released, so have they been sparring for three years? But wait, that doesn't make sense! Then are they human? Monsters? Souls? What are these people?

Sorry, I'm so excited right now. I can go on guessing forever and ever and ever! So hurry up and update soon, okay?

Stover, why are you such an awesome writer?

I really like how the narrator seems to be talking to someone, the reader or the author, I'd think. And how it seems so personal with the revelation of the life that the narrator had once had, you get resentment out of it, and maybe even awkwardness because of all the sadness and how much they yearn for it all back. It's a great emotional atmosphere.

This is a very nice read, just to let you know ;)
Diet Soda 7/25/11 . chapter 2
Is your bluntness going to be a constant thing in the fic?

Anyway, nice flow here. I can't wait for you to show who the speaker is, so... Update soon, 'kay? :)
Diet Soda 7/25/11 . chapter 1
Ha, loved the author's note at the beginning. It read like a poem! :)

At first, I thought the narrator was Ulquiorra, but that's obviously WRONG. Uh, but, my second choice was Grimmjow. So that still gives me points, right? :)
Just Lovely 7/23/11 . chapter 2
First person!

Anyways, I love how in this perspective, you get a direct passage into their thoughts and their experiences, it's like being the character in the story, going through what they go through. The analytically observing thoughts are so precise and straight-forward, it's a perfect portrayal of what they're going through, especially with the relationship with Grimmjow.

I love how Ulquiorra's added in that little bit at the end, he makes his character seem sane and calm, directing and speaking so bluntly, a fact that makes things seem so much more clear.

Wonderful chapter!
Just Lovely 7/23/11 . chapter 1
Stover!

I love this, really.

I like how you don't directly address Grimmjow's character, it builds up the atmosphere that you have going. Especially with the one-sided conversation that keeps on shouting but Grimmjow's still thinking in his mind. You get a sense of the relationship between the two, the one shouting and Grimmjow with how he ignores while the other yells for his attention, his aid.

I really loved the italicized part in the beginning, it was so simple and blunt. Beautiful :)
