I originally wasn't going to review this story. I read it, and I was too sad. But I think the brilliance in it is how emotionally connected you manage to get your readers. It was obviously done very well, because I, too, thought that Kurt was dead instead of Blaine.

It's heartbreaking. Your stories leave me feeling wistful, but sometimes sad... I just want happy Klaine, but deep down I want realistic Klaine, and that's what this is and why I love it.

This is so. Sad. Ahhh. It's also really well done, and I love your writing style. I thought Kurt was dead till the very end. Heart wrenching! And so original an idea too :)

I was kinda hoping it would still end well, while the possibilities of what had happened swirled inside my head. I did not expect this. At all.

I didnt cry and its kinda hard to sympathise with the loneliness of a dead boy. But it is heartbreaking to think about Kurts feelings in all this. Or to actually think about Blaines... situation.

Well see how long I can ignore the need to analyse and, consequently, shed a few tears. Because it is tragic. And stories like that do happen in real life.

And I kind of lost my train of thought here. Anyway, it was a story I wont forget for a while. Good job.

P.S. Now that Im trying to lighten up my mood, wouldnt it be fun to write a story about ghost NY, NO and/or LA? With all the dead celebrities and ordinary people. And Blaine in a bar, telling Elvis about Kurt and his pompadour. And the celebrities would be all sympathetic because Blaine "is" so young and he and Kurt were so full of dreams and talents and aspirations. But that story would demand a happy ending. At least a sort of, because otherwise it would be downright depressing.

My heart hurts. A really beautiful and tragic story.

I read this on Tumblr a while back, but I'm so glad I found it here. Now I can tell you how much I love it! So evocative and bitter-sweet and incredibly well written. You have a wonderful style. Really, really good angst.

I'm choked up.

'Blaine turned the corner, keeping his head down. What was the use in searching for a face he knew wasn't there?

He chanced a glance at a passing man. A teenager really.

Oh.

Those eyes, exactly like he remembered. A pool of blue, with flecks of green and gray floating in and out of view.

Their eyes meet- blue with hazel, and both stop.

"Kurt?"

"Blaine?"

"But- I thought- aren't you supposed to be..." He lets his sentence trail off, not wanting to speak the words, lest they be true.

"Yes." Kurt answers, not fazed by the unfinished question. "But apparently someone up there believes in second chances." He smiles softly.

Blaine's eyes pool wuth moisture as he steps forward, capturing the lips he hadn't tasted for years. And as arms winded around his neck, and eyelashes that weren't his fluttered against his cheek, Blaine Anderson thanked a god he hadn't believed in since he came out when he was 14.'
