willow7 2002-04-17 . chapter 1So this is one the few reviews you'll ever see from me for a poem, because I don't think myself capable of understanding most poems, much less interpreting them . . . but for catherder, I'll try. Okay, so while I was reading this, I went back to the scene in SiL and thought of Max's face as she read, and the wonder in her voice when she asked him if it was about her. It works perfectly, for me -- I mean, I can see her reading what you've written her and having that reaction. The *one* line that that might not apply to is "Our lips meet." Gosh, if he wrote that about her and she read it...well, I just think (1) he probably would have never shown it to her and (2) wouldn't one of them had said something about it?
I am very glad you gave us the rest of the poem. One of those DA mysteries we're left to wonder about. It is really beautiful. And while I'm here, more SiS please! =) |
