Wow! Once again, you really outdid yourself! I loved how you intertwined Daisy's weird obsession with the Scarlet (kind of like, her obsession with Paperinik in reality), Donald's and Scrooge's bittersweet family history (How cool that you remembered that Donald did in fact grow up on the farm with Grandma Duck!), and Mickey and Minnie's problematic romance! And uh-oh! More questions! More suspense! Ludwig von Drake and Gyro are believed dead? Hmmm...And why don't they want Mickey and Minnie to get together? Hmmm...Will these questions be EVER be answered? Hmmm...

Oh how I love this story. x) Great chapter, as always.

Hi! I have been reading your story for a while now, actually all of 'em! You write so well, I'm surprised no one has reviewed this story more. I hope you will write more soon, I'm a big fan of yours and Twisted Wind!

Delicious details - so splendidly scrumptious and colorful! You spread a lavish mental banquet for our greedy imaginations to feast upon. And now, oooh, I am certainly a satisfied literary gourmand!

Don Karnage was delightfully portrayed. You caught his accent, his flourishes, even his crazy metaphors (the egg scrambling analogy made me laugh so hard)! Donald and Daisy's interactions are well-planned, too. Daisy's perception of Donald's rich-boy persona and Donald's fumbling attempts to impress the girl of his dreams are amusing, especially when the love quadrangle mixes in Scarlet and Minnie. Daisy tends to have the higher social position in most of your stories, so the role reversal with her as a commoner is a fun change (and faintly reminiscent of Pride and Prejudice, perhaps?). Max Geef's part is exquisite, 'Casanova' Scrooge McDuck makes a charming appearance, and Mortimer is his marvelously slimy self! I loved his comment to Fantom after admiring Minnie, "I'll catch you later after I've caught her."

And your hero and heroine - I simply cannot admire them enough. I'd read your earlier 'Disney Storybits,' and I couldn't quite guess how you'd manage to make Mickey keep his big secret from his crush. How could he just stay the mild-mannered paperboy and not try to impress Minnie with his new-fangled devices and special training in real life, especially with Mortimer around? But, you gave him a strong, solid motivation to keep silent about his secret identity, and (even better!) you showed how hard it was for him not to tell Minnie about it. Superb, skillful writing!

I love how the characters are actually speaking French, and how every chapter title is named by a color, very creative.

Mickey is so different compared to the Scarlet, even though they're the same person, even the speech is different, which I find very cool.

I'm glad this got updated! LOL at Donald! "Yes, those are daisies.." Funny stuff! Awww...poor Donald trying to woo Daisy, but the chase is worth the wait! And though he's not the Scarlet (*grumbles at typical Mickey hero fics*) it would be nice for him to finally do some protecting or bad guy kicking eventually! He didn't really do anything in PVP. :( Anyway, I look forward to reading more!

Wow! This fic is also very well-written! The Scarlet character sounds interesting, almost like PK (though I'll always like him better). I especially like the scene with Donald and how you made him so in character (I'm comin'...It's coming!) LOL! Awww...and he fell in love with Daisy! Anyway, this fic seems creative and fun! I still like the PVP one better, but I do hope you continue with this one, too!
