Have to admit, I feel a little bad for Will here - he's kind of in the dark about the situation but you can feel his pain and frustration. I liked Keira's torn-ness. On one hand she does love him - and he her. On the other, rules, regulations and her shame of her percieved weakness for being a victim of abuse.

I liked this chapter. I thought it was sweet and allowed for some lovely progression of the characters. Got to see a bit more of Keira's tender family-oriented personality. I liked how disturbed Will was by her shorts. And his kind of conflicted feelings. He wants her, he cares about her, but he doesn't fully understand her. I thought the part about their highschool lives and her sleeping around, him having to buy her condoms and hear about it all second hand was pretty bittersweet because you can sort of feel his rejection. Stings.

Once I cleaned the coffee off my computer screen at Brian's comment about Ed, I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. Well done, kind of hoping she gets with Will, but I did like her with Spike too...

oh noooo! I mean, I do adore spike, he's such a sweetheart, but I just wanted kiera to go see Will. Nothing necessarily... NC-17, but just a guesture. That said, I'll be intrigued if you end up revealing that Will and Kiera spent the weekend together to the team and their reations. Love protective Will, wink-wink nudge-nudge!

Haha... I don't know why, but I really don't like Will. It's weird, I know, because he's a nice, normal, helpful guy... but maybe that's what turns me off? Spike has issues with family and the death of someone close (even though Lou isn't dead in this one). Plus, Spike is my absolute favorite character, and he deserves someone like Keira...

Anyways, this is your story, you're having a lot of fun with it and I'm having a lot of fun reading about it :D

Is it bad that this chapter is so much about Keira/Will, but I'm over here giggling at the Spike bits? Your challenge may become to convince your audience that Will is the better match for her, not just Keira :)

I love the line about Mario Kart sexual favors. And I love the conflict that Keira is in, trying to figure out how to have her cake and eat it too.

Thinking about those short shorts you put Keira in... why can I see Brian crying in the middle of the night (or something) that gets Keira AND Will out of bed...

I feel like a good shock would wake them both up to the fact that arguing is NOT a good thing when they have the jobs that they do (where every second is precious).
