Finally! Maybe she will stop being an ass and talk to him. He did nothing wrong, she carries all the blame for this situation. She jumped to a major conclusion, without proof I might add. Then compounded the problem by not really talking to him. Hopefully she yanks that stick out of her butt and tells him what happened and that she loves him.

Thanks for the additional chapters! I have completed reading all of your other stories so I decided to start over at the beginning of "With this ring". And I'm definitely confused... In chapter 2 you say that time moves faster in the AU and that is why Willow2 is stronger than Willow. BUT, in later chapters when buffy (spoiler alert) adandons spike to save faith, she stays in "original" Sunnydale for months, but in AU 2 only 2 days have passed... Shouldn't it be the reverse? what am I missing? Enjoying the story though! You have a wonderful imagination and are a great writer, keep up the great work! My only complaint ... I'm addicted now, so I want more, lol!

Maybe this Joyce can beat some sense into Buffy. I swear Buffy jumps to conclusions so fast and then it takes forever for her to admit she was wrong and see the truth. She sees Faith giving Spike blood and somehow assumes that Faith was jumping dimensions after giving birth and now has a relationship with Spike, a romantic relationship. She has no proof, only a few moments witnessed with no context. And that is the conclusion she comes up with. Never occurred to her that maybe Faith was able to come up with a solution for Spike's injuries because she isn't an emotional wreck? That because she has no romantic feelings for Spike she could see the problem clearly and come up with a solution? Nope according to Buffy they have to be bumping uglies.

Spike was correct, Buffy doesn't want him to see her mom. She is afraid mom will spill the baby beans.

why did u have to end it like that? i hate waiting. btw the story is going soo great i cant wait to read more its just fantastic... keep up the good work !

Pickles and milk a dead give away to pregnancy! Glad someone is there to yell at Buffy. She has serious issues, always had them probably always will. It is almost like she isn't happy unless she is unhappy. Like she thinks she is deserving of happiness. Or that being a slayer means she isn't allowed to be happy.

About time she realized that she abandoned him! And of course after not thinking clearly and running away to find blood and coming back to find Faith giving him her blood she jumps to the wrong conclusion.

Sometimes I doubt she really loves him. She is always so quick to think the worst of him. It would never occur to her to offer her blood because in the back of her mind she doesn't trust him not to drain her. When she sees Faith feeding Spike she assumes that they are a couple, because she can't believe that he loves her. I swear there aren't enough shrinks in the world to fix that woman! Faith had no problem offering Spike her blood, he sacrificed himself for her and the baby, she trusts him not to drain her to bad Buffy can't.

Just finished Chapter 11 and I'm enjoying the story. I love that you have Buffy admitting she loves Spike. It's a much healthier choice for her and shows character growth that canon lacked. I'm also really excited to see that this is a newly added piece! So much of the spuffy fan fiction is several years old and many of the better stories lack conclusions. I'm still waiting for Mary to finish Journey's or was that Revelations? Anyway, great work, I like the whole portal angle very creative. Just don't make Buffy mean to Spike okay? He deserves her to be loving! ;) also a suggestion ... How about using a number for the secondary place like Will2 , Xan2 etc.. That way if u wanted to go all wiggy on us you could have another portal and then have Will3 lol;). Keep it coming I'll keep reading!
