Lovely quiet story. I think there's a lot to come from Esther. I like her a lot and that conversation with Gwen had me in tears - again. Nice interpretation and I'll comment here as LJ is down yet again.

I haven't read many Miracle Day fanfics either :) Haven't been many written, I don't think! But this was marvellous! I think that I am beginning to warm to Esther actually - even though she can be a little soppy, how else is she meant to react? So, I really like your portrayal of her here, I could imagine her saying the things that she did, which is great characterisation! Plus, I reckon you've got 'Miracle-Day' Gwen spot on too! It's obvious that she's changed during the 12 months between CoE and MD, and I think you've got a great handle on that :)
