Exceptional :)

This made me cry. The last part. Poor Castiel, that's just so sad. I can't find any better words for it.

Holy shit, I'm totally gripped into this fic on the first chapter! Amazing work! I am so excited to read more!

So on the one hand, I already miss these versions of Cas and Dean. And on the other, I'm not sorry to see them go, for two reasons:

1. They got as happy an ending as I could have imagined for them (and I didn't have to see Lisa cry, or Jess be a snatch to Cas again... I might have lost my temper over that. I mean, good grief. Human compassion: not just for your mom anymore).

2. I get the feeling you ran out of As We Forgive Those steam awhile ago. Which is just fine.

I think this ending was so just on the right side of shmoopy. Which is to say: it isn't. It's full of love and wonder, but it lacks the perfection and syrup of a world that exists without consequence and complications. Which, I feel, is where most romances fail: lining up with reality.

It's just a perfect description of love existing in spite of who wants it. Because of all the blindness in the human experience, love is perhaps the most blind.

Plus, oh yeah, there isn't a single sex scene in this story that is not ridiculously, insanely steamy. SOMEONE GET ME A FAN AND A DEHUMIDIFIER. It's like a Georgia summer but lacking all the peaches. Oh wait, is that Cas sans pants? Never mind that last thing I said. This is a Georgia summer.

I think if I could go back and redo one thing, it would be leaving you mushy love notes on each chapter of this story. Things like, "Tch, Sam thinks he's so great just because he never felt like he had to betray himself in order to be happy. But girl, to make me happy, all I gotta betray is a few local laws dating back to the 1600s and a little bit of gravity."

Only I'd be saying it Justin Timberlake's 'Dick in a Box' voice.

But don't worry girl, I'd never put a dick in a box and give it to you. For one, I could never give it to you in front of your parents. For two, the guy I took it from would be really upset. He'd be all, "OH MY GOD, THE BLOOD. OH GOD. OH GOD. PLEASE NO. PLEASE PLEASE. OH GOD."

Nothing like a little disgusting morbid humor to help write a love letter!

But really, I'm excited whenever you end a story. Because it means you have more deliciousness up those clever sleeves of yours. And I, for one, can't wait.

Loved this ending! The last line was absolutely perfect. There love for each other was beautiful. Thank you so much for giving them a happy ending!

oh my goodness the last chapter was so poetic, your writing has me crying tears of joy and agony at the same time beautiful end to a beautiful story.

I'm probably neither the first or last to say that this chapter, nay this story, ended beautifully. From the beginning of my reading of this story, I was hooked like Dean on bacon cheeseburgers. I swear, you could feel the emotion radiating from this story. You're a fabulous writer and I really need to get my assbutt in gear and get a copy of Me & Mine. Keep writing, I'm pretty sure it's your gift to the world. :)

Wow. I wasn't expecting this to be over so soon! When I saw it said complete I hardly believed it. But this. This was a fanastic ending! Just...wow. Amazing :)

This felt right as an ending to this story. I mean, they're far from 'alright' yet, but they will be. They can't be anything else. They have each other now. They do, AND they're aware of it. (duh, guys!)
