Oooh, this is a wonderful new story I have found; incredibly unique. I wasn't expecting how great the characters would be in this story. You truly have created a new and interesting take on these characters to really explore some new and interesting emotions and personalities.

Since they are in New York now, can we be expecting some run-ins with the X-Men. That will be interesting if there is one, especially with X-23 on the group's tail.

Anyways:

In an unrelated subject has anyone else ever imagined him (Remy) walking down the street or something eg shopping/ going to the bank etc with no glasses on and his biological parents see his eyes and have one of them has a mini panic attack and faints and remy takes him/her to the hospital and leaves his parents alone together in the hospital who then FINALLY realise what they have done by abandoning such a good lookin' Cajun and wallow in self pity till they somehow see him again and tell him how they are his real parents and Remy responds by telling them about growing up on the streets, starving etc and leaves them while the mother cries about what she's done? Just me? Oh well...

By the way has anyone come across a story where gambit finds his real parents?

Yay! An update! Have I told you that I love this story yet? Well I do, and I love the fact that you are having an ordinary human helping them. I also like the way you bring Gambits natural mistrust in to the story, cause he never trusts anyone.

Oh and something that is a little unclear to me, is Fae's daughter alive?

Next chapter you could get x23 to find them again and in the middle of an epic battle, one of the four get critically injured then the x men turn up blah blah blah they knock x23 out and take all four the the med wing in the mansion and do something about Laura

this story is really good. its so intense and i just love the way you write. it flows very nicely. i'd like to see what happens with the budding relationships and what is going to become of the x-men. do their paths ever cross? surely xavier would have detected what happened on the box cart. normally i don't really like OCs but these two are pretty great.

if you read the comics then you'll understand this comment, if not then don't bother. when you first talked about kayla, theo, genesis', which ever you wish to call her i began to think she was Storm and Forge's child. think about it.

This is a wonderful story! I love the emotion you put into it.

One thing that I might suggest is give there location in the next chapter. It's just something I wanted to know through this one. I love this story and I'm looking forward to the rest. It really is amazing.

While I don't love that Rogue is out, I do like the characterization of her breakdown. It seems very realistic, considering the circumstances. I also like how you characterize the group - the bonds are very, very strong, after all, and it's easy to tell they're all worried about Rogue.

Their absolute puzzlement at Fae's kindness also makes perfect sense. I think Gambit might have been more hostile, but that's just me.

Anyways, keep up the good work!

Please continue soon this is really good don't give up I'd like to find out if they get to the mansion and adjust to normal (well as normal as you can get for a mutant) life. Also if they do will they open up about their experiences and will everyone pity them?

Will x23 get to them first? Will there be a fight? In said fight will the x men intervene? Will x23 escape the prison that is her brain washed mind?

Will you ever continue as I will beg and keep asking every week without fail?
