I felt bad for Edward, though, while she was yelling at him. And I'm curious over who the vampire (?) at the end of this chapter was. Alice, maybe? Seems like it would be, but I'm not positive. | robsjenn 7/31/11 . chapter 1 ooh la la - i love this already! human edward, human bella, vamp alice, saving the world. i'm very intrigued! so, this is really minor, but the proper term would be "steeling herself," not "stealing herself." "She yanked the door back, stealing herself for the sight that had greeted her when she returned from class two hours before." i feel like an annoying old grammar lady even pointing it out...and it doesn't detract from the excellent suspense you've already built up in this initial chapter. thanks for writing and welcome back! |
