Huh. I have no idea where you're going with this one. I going to assume it's nowhere predictable. I can't imagine how Elena must be feeling, having to deal with the people she loves acting so crazy and OOC and scary. No clue how she'll fix this one. Sadly can't ready the next chapter for a while so I'll have lots of time to wonder!

Wow. I find it so interesting that your Elena in each of these settles comfortably into so many different personalities as if she were really the character she's being forced to play. And she's not making a conscious decision to do this - it's just happening naturally. It's bizarre and cool and fits what (I think) you're trying to do here very well. Kudos!

I'm surprised that the Elena from the end of 2.22, even after the previous 5 chapters, was able to jump into the role she played in this one so easily. Why does she suddenly not love Stefan anymore? I'm confused. I guess it's because it's all kind of a dream? Your idea for this chapter is very original and really well written, but I just have difficulty seeing how Elena got to the place she is at the end of it. Unless it's just a role-playing sort of thing, cause it's not really real. Sorry, it's probably just me and my understanding of this. It's a great chapter and Damon feels incredibly in character and spot-on.

I love how you've created a story that manages to incorporate both canon and AU/AH woven into one. This chapter was amazing. Love the pull between then even in these weird scenarios Elena finds herself in. Love that you didn't write Stefan as a bad guy, too.

"I wish for you to find someone who will give you her whole heart, Damon. That is what you deserve." I love this statement because it's exactly how I feel about Damon. And Elena will NEVER be able to give him her whole heart, which is why I truly feel she is the worst thing for him. But no ranting in your review! haha

This is such a cool story. I'd love to see something like this (with Elena actually learning stuff about herself and Damon) on the show, but we both know it won't happen.
