The ending was weak but it sure is a pretty story. In the sense that is well written and tugs at the heartstrings.

Damn, that's sad as hell. I hope that all culture can be preserved, and that no stupid accident will wipe out the entire existance of a proud race of people, of any kind.

I really like how this is done, I really need to get around to reading the book soon. Keep writing.
