I would have sworn with the amount of times I've read this story that I'd reviewed it but apparently I haven't. This is one of my favorite AW fanfics (even if Michael has the wrong color eyes, but heck, I'm sure you didn't have a video when you wrote this). I love the mythology and have always been impressed by the research that you did on tulpas, Psionic protocols, and Muerta. Even if some of it was wholecloth invention, it was done in a way that was eminently believable.

I am reviewing now - again, can't believe I hadn't done so previously - because I just returned home from the Adirondacks and the camp where we stayed had a merlin hanging about and I remembered your description of caitlin. The merlin hawk we had was small, a bit shrill, persistent and a bit repetitive, so it was a spot-on choice for Caitlin (at least in my opinion).

I don't know how you do it. You describe something with a few words that literally builds a world in my mind. I read your stories and I can 'feel' everything. Very few stories are capable of entrancing me this thoroughly.

Lovely, now the question is, what are the odds of Jim and Blair leaving the Lady be? With their thrack record? No chance at all. Love the way Airwolf introduces herself too. And calling String "Michael's Thorn" is classic! It fits so well.

BPAL moment again - Michael's scent of "mint and mountains" would be Faeu Boulanger (earth, mist, mint, violet). Or possibly Undertow (lotus, juniper, mint). I'm going to end up making my perfume purchases based on scents that fit your lovely descriptions, you know.

Wow, great story. Little unnerving between Hawke and Archangel at the end. Airwolf has part of him, and Archangel the rest?

And the next thought is how does he keep him from killing him?

Reading your stories is not good for my study habits- but it is just so intresting! I suppose I'll have to go look up sentennial now- hope it isn't too long... my list of things to watch is putting major constrants on my time.

I really enjoyed this story. I love how you tied Archangel and Ellison together. The mysticism was well done as well. It wasn't in your face like some other stories I have read in the past.

So Archangel and String are a guide and sentinel pair...that should be interesting!

*likes* the occasional whiff of the occult in his series! Although I've read your other stories, I hadn't noticed this before: you keep referring to Archangel as having green?

eyes... sorry, but they are blue. It may seem like a minor detail, but I found it a bit jarring. *g* Now, repeat after me: Archangel's eyes are BLUE (just like Alex Cord's).

BTW: Keep writing! Not too many Airwolf stories out there these days, sigh...
